The “Cast Crochet” collection combines crochet and metal practices.

“Bronze Cast Crochet,” and “Aluminum Cast Crochet” are made using direct casting, a method in which the original object is directly cast in metal without creating a mold. The last piece “Cast Iron Granny Squares” (2021), however, was poured in iron using a sand mold of crocheted granny squares.
